Frequently Asked Questions Q: How long has the DMS been in business? A: DMS was Incorporated in 1986. Q: What If A Member Can't Find their Dentist In The DMS Directory? A: If your dentist is not in our directory, feel free to refer them to DMS for participation and qualification procedures. Q: What If A Member Wants To Change His/Her Dentist? A: You may change yur current dental office effective on the 1st of the following month by notifying us in writing prior to the next month as long as there is no balance with your current dentist. You will be effective in the new office the first of the month following your written notification. Please call us to confirm the dentist you have chosen is still participating in the dental plan. Q: What if I've already seen a Dentist that isn't a DMS provider? Can I still use that dentist? A: Since there are no claim forms involved in this plan, you can not use any other dental office than the one you are presently assigned to. Q: What is the cancellation policy?
